lyrics

There's a party about to begin, can you feel it?
Somebody starts to play the sanshin, can you hear it?
We got food, we got friends, we got family like ichariba choodee
When it comes to the end, you better not go home yet, let's not forget

You got to move your feet
to the syncopated beat of the kachaashii
Hands from side to side
No need to be hajikasaa you're doin' the atchamee gwaa
You move your feet
to the syncopated beat of the kachaashii
Hands from side to side
And if you find yourself lost, just follow your grandma

Hayiya sensuru yuiyanaa

It don't matter the occasion
As long as the music, the music plays on
When it starts, get out of your chair
Your body feels the rhythm and your hands go up in the air
All the shimanchu should know what to do

You got to move your feet
to the syncopated beat of the kachaashii
Hands from side to side
No need to be hajikasaa you're doin' the atchamee gwaa
You move your feet
to the syncopated beat of the kachaashii
Hands from side to side
And if you don't know what to do, maybe your grandpa can show you

Hayiya sensuru yuiyanaa

If you sit there saying that you don't know how
Shiwa sankiyoo
Don't even worry you can learn right here and now
Soon you'll find yourself groovin along with the beat
And you can't stop the feeling, so let me hear you heeshi
(Hiyasaasaa!)

You got to move your feet
to the syncopated beat of the kachaashii
Hands from side to side
No need to be hajikasaa you're doin' the atchamee gwaa
You move your feet
to the syncopated beat of the kachaashii
Hands from side to side
And if you don't know what to do, maybe my grandma's gonna show you
